We are always looking for talented Ph.D., master, and undergraduate students interested in research on computer security, computer architecture, and artificial intelligence.

For Prospective PhD Students

TML2 has openings for Ph.D. students to work on computer architecture, computer security and artificial intelligence research, with an anticipated starting date of fall 2026 (earlier starting date is also negotiable) and spring 2027.

How to be considered

  • Submit a complete official application to the FSU Computer Science graduate program link. For more information, refer to this.
  • Include all required materials:
    • transcripts
    • CV
    • statement of purpose
    • required test scores (if applicable)
    • all required recommendation letters
    • payment of the application fee (or an officially approved fee waiver)
  • List me as a potential advisor and clearly describe your research interests and relevant background.

Important

  • Like other research universities, FSU can only make admission and funding decisions based on complete applications in the official system.
  • I do not evaluate profiles, make offers, or schedule interviews based solely on email, CVs, or incomplete files.
  • Applicants are fully responsible for ensuring that their documents and letters are submitted on time.
  • Please note that FSU’s up-front cost may be higher for international students than many peers because the credential evaluation is required before review.

Fee waivers

Requests for application fee waivers are handled only by the Graduate School according to their official policies. Individual faculty (including me) cannot override or grant waivers.

Contact

After you have submitted a complete application, you may email me with:

  • your full name,
  • your application ID,
  • a short paragraph decribing your background and research interests.
